Laura Slatkin introduced the world to the art of home fragrance with the launch of Slatkin & Co in 1994. It was one of the first of its kind—a luxury home fragrance brand at a time when home fragrance was enjoyed by very few. Known for its sophisticated scents, Slatkin & Co quickly became the number one home fragrance company in the luxury market, leading to its acquisition by one of the largest specialty retailers in the world. Laura then went on to create bespoke home fragrances for over 100 of the most sought-after and exclusive luxury brands. While doing so, Laura sensed a void in the luxury market and set out to create her own brand, NEST New York.

Collaborating exclusively with master perfumers who had access to the world’s finest ingredients, Laura launched NEST New York in 2008 with a collection of expertly crafted candles featuring a proprietary wax formula with one of the highest percentages of fragrance oils in the industry. Today, NEST New York is the leading home fragrance brand in the luxury market.
